Initially i had troubles with the filament and didn't think much of it, but due to me resetting the parameters of my Ender 5, i am shocked to say that at basically base line default settings, it has printed WONDERFULLY. seriously no fuss, easy to work with, from my experience you don't even have to vacuum seal it for this good effect, just leave it on the reel and it works out just dandy. it is also suprisingly strong as ive printed small parts for mt Motorcycle and its worked out fine (obviously nowhere where its hot). 10/10 (Posted on 11/08/2022)

I just wanted to talk about the amazing fairy floss pink. My partner loves it and anybody I've shown it too just fell in love with it instantly.

I really appreciate the transparent filament spools as it makes checking the amount of filament left on the roll really easy.

The best part about 3DFillies is their item descriptions. It shows that they've done extensive testing on their product, offers solid advice and have fun doing it.

I've bought a few of these rolls, Brown, Desert Sand and Dark Grey. The only filament I've had any problems with has been the Dark Grey which refuses to print any good details no matter how much I calibrate my printer or adjust the temp, and different heats actually seem to produce different gradients of Grey which has led to some prints not matching. I've also had two of the rolls (Brown and Dark Grey) tangled and get stuck while printing, however it's only been in the first few meters of the material and doesn't occur again.

Overall these filaments have been good to use, better than the rolls I buy from Jaycar, but some quality control might help.

I purchased 3 rolls of the PLA+ ( black, Transparent Red and Transparent ) a few months ago from the Ebay store, I was excited to start using it as I have heard amazing reviews about 3DFillies Filaments,
Now let me start off by saying once you get your settings down this stuff prints AMAZING!
the finish is incredible and it doesnt snap if you leave it in the printer for a few days like other filaments, very impressed.
HOWEVER... so far 2 of the 3 rolls had tangles in them just after starting the roll, 1st one
(Black) causing the filament holder I use to be dragged off the shelf and onto the printer (broke a glass bed)
Thankfully the 2nd roll ( Transparent Red ) I watched carefully for the 1st hour or so and caught the tangle in time (bit of wasted filament but no biggie)
In summery this stuff really is amazing but their quality control when rolling the filament onto the spools needs to be looked at (Hence 4 Stars)
I am yet to try the last roll ( Transparent clear ) and will post back here if I find that, that too, has a tangle. (Posted on 26/05/2021)

Incredibly well made and consistent in print quality. I have this in white, red, black, and the marble.

The black finishes in a matte look and feel and its so lovely to look at, very clean print. Quality is always top notch.

Being new to 3D printing, i was told to buy filament from 3D fillies. Bought my first batch a month ago, PLA+ red, green and black. The black does seem to be a bit more sticky but i likely need to adjust some settings. The red and green print perfect on my Ender 3 Pro with a 0.4mm nozzle, 205c / 60c, 50mms print speed, 4mm retraction. Using a glass bed, no problems with bed adhesion as long as the bed is level and z offset is correct.
Half way through all those rolls so I just ordered another 6 of various colours! Looking forward to trying the translucent colours. (Posted on 23/06/2020)

I don't usually take the time to review products. I've been using 3D Fillies filaments for about 18 months now, and I've been impressed with the quality since day one. What made me want to leave a positive review though, was finding an old print of mine. I used to use the cheapest filament I could get. Now comparing the quality of 3D fillies with the old stuff I used, I can honestly say, I wont go back. The colour pigments, strength, and consistency are so much better, and they have always shipped out fast. The packaging is nice which I appreciate, and they are well sealed up to avoid moisture. Well, when it comes to knowledge of 3D printing I really scrape the bottom of the barrel. Received my first and only printer at the end of Jan. now here we are halfway through March and I finished my first roll with others various distances from the start. I have really enjoyed the journey and i have filled a small bag with oh bugger type prints all from mistakes on my part. With no knowledge to go by I simply put the filament in the printer and left everything standard and bingo, items appeared that left my wife and I simply amazed. After buying my first 3D printer, I decided to try 3DFillies as I’d read some good things about it. Could probably find marginally cheaper on eBay, but prefer to deal with a local company. The filament arrived quickly. I bought a roll of grey and one of blue. Both of them work really well and give great results. I printed a bunch of minis for my daughter and they came out great. She has since bought a 3D printer and she’s using 3DFillies too. Like me, she loves it. I really love the way the blue looks. Have just ordered more grey and blue, as well as a black. My first roll of PLA+ White, is up there with, even surpassing my favourite American filament (MakerShaper, which is closing its doors). The PLA+ color/shading is fantastic, not too much shine which gives a higher fidelity and depth to an object. This is the good quality stuff. I've had bad experiences with the PLA included with my printers, average experiences with cheap no-name PLA from eBay, and have also tried Esun - which was decent. By far 3D Fillies is my favourite. I've been using the light grey on 4 of my machines and it's one smooth mother-fucker, so smooth in fact that ABS + acetone smoothing may be something that I won't really bother doing much of in the future, except for outdoor applications. If the quality remains consistent I'll stick with 3d Fillies. You had me at Pantone 5C. (Posted on 8/03/2019)

I purchased several rolls of PLA+ one of which was the red color. from the word go the filament was prone to breaking 1 to 2 times per print. I contacted 3dFillies who told me that the reason was the way in which i was storing the filament and there was no possible way that it would be a faulty batch. I have printed with other colors of PLA+ without issue and pride myself on taking good care of my filaments having PLA filaments that are 18 months old that still print as well as the day they were purchased. Anyhow that's my 2 cents worth.

Today I received my fifth order from 3DFillies - a restock of five one kilogram rolls of Light Grey PLA+.

I ordered late on a Friday, and received them in the morning on the following Tuesday. Pretty good, considering I am in Canberra, the order came from Melbourne, and was routed through the post facility somewhere in... Sydney? OK, maybe someone needs to look at this, as this has happened with my previous shipments as well. If it hadn’t passed through Sydney, I may well have received it on the Monday, which is, essentially, next day service, for no extra cost.

I paid just shy of $115.00, for 5 kgs of PLA+, including free postage. This is far and away the best deal I can get on 3D filament in my area.

But what is the filament like?

It is simply the best PLA filament I have ever used. I’m running a TEVO Little Monster (delta machine) which has a large print area. I have found the PLA+ produces great prints, whether they be huge, or tiny. I have even printed off a few 32 mm scale, humanoid, figures, to a standard I am happy with - something that FDM printing is not reknown for, and something I have been unable to do with any other PLA filament I have previously used.

Did not notice any difference between this and the previous and only filament that I have previously used (Cocoon Create), for all I know they are the same, but it is alot cheaper.

I've printed with the Purple PLA+ and Transparent Blue. Both printed perfectly and I had no issues. Resulting colours are sweet. For my home built CoreXY printer (V6 clone hot end) I used 210C printing over sugar water on glass was easy and results could not have been better.

Another bonus - the durable ziploc bags are great. As reported in my other review I'd suggest reworking the spools when next they are manufactured so that they use slots for tying loose ends rather than small holes (unless the intention is to waste material by breaking off ends). I am working on a full size 3D printed R2D2, which involves is a very large amount of printing. I have gone through over 14kg of white PLA from four different brands with mixed success, most recently having switched to 3D Fillies.

The White 3D Fillies PLA+ has been great. No problems with bed adhesion under extrusion or layer adhesion that I had seen with some other brands.

Got my first 3D printer at Christmas this year (2017) and it has opened my eyes to a whole world of possibilities. Unfortunately the printer only came with a few test pieces of filament.
Eager to print more things, I quickly did some hunting around to see where I could get my hands on a roll of filament.
First stop EBay. Whilst there were lots to choose from, I wasnt too sure what to get or what to expect of the quality... Then I noticed a 3Dfillies product for sale. Australian filament! Get out, who are these guys, so off to the website I went. Once I'd seen that the price was more or less the same as the cheep varietys on EBay, I was sold!
Not really knowing what the quality was going to be like, I took the plunge, and it was worth it! Not that I'd tried any other brands, but this stuff (black pla+) was amazing to work with!
I'm now 4months into printing and have started designing bespoke products for people on Tinkercad.
I'm now on my second roll of black pla+ and beginning a collection of other colours.
Personally I'm looking forward to a great future collecting all the colours and having them paid for by satisfied customers.
Proud to buy Australian and wishing all the people at 3Dfillies the very best for the future!!

This PLA+ Is absolutely amazing fillament, its bed adhesion is excellent, the layers go down flawlessly and the finished results are just incredible. I was not expecting it to have as much strength as it does but I can tell you now, its very strong for PLA. Can't wait to try the PETG I've just recently ordered.

The packaging is amazing as well, the boxes are so clean and thick to protect the fillament and the reusable bags are awesome, 3dFillies you guys have just done an awesome job of producing and all round high quality product!

However if you guys could respond to my email that I sent on the 30/01/2018 in regards to the static properties of your PLA+ that would be great 11 days with no reply is pretty rough. Thanks. (Posted on 10/02/2018)

Have been printing with PLA+ Lithophane white for the past 10 days and it's been printing so well. Much stronger than the ordinary PLA, but with just the right amount of translucency and excellent layer adhesion.

Extruder temp: 215C first layer/210C subsequent layers
Bed temp: 25-50C

PLA+ exhibited much higher layer bonding, hardness and print quality/evenness over conventional PLA from various suppliers. Bed adhesion was very good over a range of bed temperatures (all with glue stick only, on glass). ABS slurry offered even better adhesion.
Small detail on parts was easy to achieve and there seemed to be less cooling issues with small details over conventional PLA.
Temperature towers showed a wide range of print performance from 185C to 230C with a minimum of stringing at the higher temps and slight dropoff in strength at lower temps.
So far it's difficult to find a negative for PLA+ to balance this review.

I have been printing with this filament for about 2 weeks now on all 3 of my printers, This Filament has now changed my mind when choosing filaments, I will now only choose PLA+ from 3DFillies, I am no longer buying any ABS as this PLA+ is doing an awesome job

After some more tuning I’ve been able to get this to print at 190* and 55*. Prints come out great with a .4 nozzle. Sticks to the bed with ease and a little glue stick.

I got a roll of the grey and black and I've done a little printing with each. I used a 0.2mm nozzle with the grey to print some miniatures and after tweaking a few settings was very happy with the quality.

Now using the black I'm back to a 0.4mm and printing some larger objects. It lays down silky smooth and has a great looking finish. Will definitely be looking at the PLA+ again next time I need some filament. (Posted on 19/12/2017)
